 Interested in making a difference in the lives of others?  Volunteer with Coleman Professional Services to assist the community, meet new people, gain new skills and have fun helping others!  Volunteers must formally apply and interview with Coleman Professional Services.  Applicants will be required to provide three references, complete a criminal background check and if selected, an orientation process.  Training will be provide.  Volunteer hours are flexible and can vary depending upon the site's hours of operation and the volunteer's interests and needs.  For more information, please contact:

Billing Volunteer

Limited on time, but still want to make an impact?  Join our Billing Group.  The Billing Group meets on the 2nd Friday of every month from 9:00am-11:00am in Kent.  Stuff envelopes, make new friends and have a ball with this once a month commitment!

 

Crafter

Crafters needed to lead fun projects with individuals with mental illness.  Make a difference in the lives of others by providing a fun and creative outlet working with clients in a group home setting.  This evening and weekend opportunity is available in Edinburg, Kent and Windham.  Supplies needed!

 

Foundation Assistant

Detail-oriented volunteer with great organizational skills needed at the Coleman Foundation.  Spend an afternoon creating shipping materials and completing mailings for our worthwhile organization!

 

Front Desk Receptionist

Front Desk assistance needed for Coleman Professional Services’ Sue Hetrick Building in Ravenna. Spend some time in the morning or afternoon greeting clients, sorting mail and answering telephones in our beautiful newer building.  Use your bright smile and cheery attitude to make a difference in the lives of others at the front desk!

 

Game Leader

Do you love to put together puzzles?  Do you enjoy playing games like Monopoly, Sorry, Connect Four and Rummy?  So do our clients!  Spend a few hours getting to know individuals in our community over an exciting game or puzzle.  A few hours of your time can make such a difference in the lives of others!  Weekend and evening hours are available in Edinburg, Kent and Windham.

 

Health and Nutrition Volunteer

Are you interested in nutrition?  Do you lead a healthy lifestyle and want to share your secrets with others?  Spend time with the Community Support and Recovery Group in Ravenna sharing tips, recipes and health information with clients.  Help create nutritious snacks and lunches (food provided) for all to enjoy.

 

Kitchen Assistant

Coleman Adult Day Services needs dedicated volunteers to assist in the kitchen area. No cooking or meal preparation experience needed for this Ravenna opportunity!  Assist staff members by loading and unloading the dishwasher and providing light clean up duties. By donating only two hours at lunch, one day a week you CAN make a difference in the lives of others!

 

Pianist

Outgoing pianist needed once a month on a weekday from 1:00p-3:00p at Coleman Adult Day Services located in Ravenna.  Share your musical talents with an active group of seniors.  Be paid in smiles, cheers and whistles.  Be appreciated—be a Coleman volunteer!
